Patty truly is Patty and not Patricia and she has been around and enjoyed animals all her life. Patty knew the veterinary profession was in her future since the age of five, but states "It just took me a while to get here". Patty grew up in Iowa and moved to the Portland area in 2004 with her husband and 2 cats. Since then she has graduated with a degree in Veterinary Technology, passed the national boards to become a Certified Licensed Technician and added a third cat to her household. Her love for all creatures great and small keeps her motivated and maintains her high standards of care for every animal entrusted to her.
Courtney was raised with animals and remembers them as always being an integral part of the family. Although Courtney currently has one kitty named "Nibblet", with a feisty personality that keeps her busy, she hopes to add a dog to the family when they have a bit more room.
Courtney has spent her years here at OVH increasing her confidence, skill and knowledge of the profession and she enthusiastically thanks the doctor’s and staff here at OVH for their mentoring. But Courtney came to us with a heart filled with compassion and an appreciation for the human-animal bond that we all share and she states "It has truly been a great experience being able to work with the animals and build relationships with them and their owners, our clients".
Courtney’s main professional goal is to continue to expand her knowledge base in the field in hopes of becoming a Certified Veterinary Technician and OVH will be there to support her towards that goal.
Outside of work Courtney can be found painting and drawing or relaxing with friends and family.
Danyale West - Veterinary Assistant with OVH since 2006
Danyale was born and raised in Oregon City, OR and most of her family is nearby, except her father in Arizona.
Danyale and her husband Aaron purchased their first home nearby in Oregon City and are the proud parents of a variety of pets including; "Spike" and ""Blanca" the kitty duo and "Chaulko" her handsome Pit Bull Mix. Then there "Patch" the family Ferret, "Bunny" her rascally Rabbit and last but not least"Charles" the Water Turtle.
Danyale began her career with OVH as an Animal Caretaker in the Kennel Department and worked her way into the Technical Department as a Veterinary Assistant where her skill set continues to increase daily along side her natural inborn talent for animal nursing.

Jeremy Shannon - Veterinary Assistant with OVH since 2007
New York born Jeremy Shannon has spent most of his life in the veterinary world, growing up in a family that spent years in veterinary school and practicing veterinary medicine. Jeremy has spent most of his working life being a Veterinary Assistant and currently he is developing his education to sit for the national boards to become a licensed Certified Veterinary Technician and OVH will there to support him towards that goal.
Jeremy is owned by a rebellious terrier named "Sitka" who is beautiful, athletic, smart and trouble on paws.
Jeremy spends his spare time enjoying outdoor activities and also working as a professional DJ.
