Our Veterinarians have extensive experience and advanced medical skills as well as a deep seated passion for helping our four legged friends in need. Our doctors take the time to not only ask the right questions, but also listen. 

Our Veterinary Nurses are a vital part of the medical team. We have a top notch team of Certified Veterinary Technicians as well as experienced assistants who have dedicated their professional lives to providing the most compassionate and knowledgeable nursing possible to every pet in their care.

Our Receptionists are your link to the doctors and an invaluable part of the OVH team. They are a welcoming voice on the phone and the friendly face when you walk in the door. Their knowledge and kindness shines through as they guide you through your appointments or questions. 

Our Animal Caretakers are selected for their commitment to providing tender care to our patients and boarding friends as well as an excellent attitude and an aptitude for learning. They are carefully trained and often prove so capable and develop such a passion for the profession that they work and train to be part of the nursing team.


Oswego Veterinary Hospital takes great pride in our excellent staff and we are committed to providing them with the training, support and tools they need to perform their responsibilities with excellence. We are also committed to compensating staff fairly and providing them with a pleasant and safe workplace where they can pursue a career, not just a job, in veterinary medicine.  

Our staff is continually educated and trained on both medical issues and client service topics. All staff members are eligible to receive paid ongoing continuing professional education that includes frequent all-staff training meetings. Our Monday training meetings are why we sometimes have to put the phones to voicemail for a couple hours during the Monday lunch hour. (Of course, even then, we always respond to patient emergencies at our door promptly!)
